OVERNIGHT APPLE PROTEIN PORRIDGE

Prep Time 15 minutes 

Ingredients

(use organic where possible)

2 cups organic rolled oats
4 small apples, finely shredded (or 3 large)
4 tbsp chia seeds
4 tbsp hemp seeds
4 scoops Chief Protein powder (vanilla or chocolate – Australian made)
1 cup Greek or natural yoghurt
3 cups almond milk or regular milk (plus extra if needed)
4–6 tsp pure maple syrup (to taste)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

In a large bowl or container, combine the rolled oats, shredded apple, chia seeds, hemp seeds, and protein powder.

Add the yoghurt, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon (if using). 

Stir well until fully combined.

Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).

Chocolate Option
Swap vanilla protein for Chief Chocolate Protein Powder
Add an extra 1–2 teaspoons maple syrup if you like it slightly sweeter

Crunchy Topping (Add Before Serving)
Crushed walnuts or pecans for extra crunch and flavour

Serving & Storage
Keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days
Serve cold or gently warmed
If it’s too thick in the morning, simply add a splash of milk or a spoon of yoghurt and stir to loosen
